Agrat shrugs

All I wanted was it's heart. I care not what you found in there, as I know there is nothing else it could have that I would want.

However As I recall, the deal was you get dragon leather boots, Imp get's the dragon's hoard and it's bones, and I get it's heart. Jack wanted any books it had. If what you found isn't any of those things, then by all means keep it, I have no issue with it so long as the deal is honored. On the other hand, if you are trying to get extra loot behind our deal, then there is going to be a problem.

Of course, so long as I get the heart, I don't mind too much if we alter the deal somewhat. However either the deal is honored, or it's altered. I will not tolerate you or anyone else breaking it. If what you found was in the dragon's hoard, then you will need to compensate Imp since the hoard and bones were promised to her. That is if what you have was part of it's hoard. What did you find anyway?

I think it's a dragon egg. Maybe it ain't any good, I dunno. Practically cracked my head on the thing when she knocked me back. Was headed into the woods to talk to an old witch friend of mine. See what she had to say about it.

Agrat shrugs

Might as well go with you. I don't remember any witches living in these parts, but it has been a while since I've been here. If I had to guess, since there was only one egg, and Pyrog looked a bit young, She may have been given that egg from a sibling. Most dragons tend to lay a clutch of eggs, and some will give all but one of their eggs to help spread them out to keep folks from snatching up their entire clutch.

Agrat gestures Dreadbolt to lead the way to the witch as she follows while speaking

I suppose one could argue that the egg you have isn't part of Pyrog's hoard, and so it's your's. I don't want it. Imp might though. What would you want with it anyway?

If it ain't any good, well, it'll make a nice trophy. If it is viable, however, well.. I happen to know how to raise dragons. Train em up proper like. As for the witch, she keeps to herself. Most just know her as the Horned Hag. I am one of the few who know her as Juniper Del Toro.

But what about you...? What's you history with Veera? And why do you call her Imp?

Argat nods

Do be careful-the actual mother of the egg may come for it. You may not know this, but few things are as dangerous as a loving mother protecting her children.

Agrat then shrugs and laughs at his question

As for Veera, I call her Imp, for the same reason I call Eloth Tyke. I like to give pet names to my younger family members.

Agrat smiles

Might be a bit hard to believe given how young I look, but Imp and Tyke are 2 of my grandchildren. Though, I am not a part of the Helvune dynasty. Though all the members of it hold me in high esteem and respect.

Do they now...?

He got a far off look in his eye as they approached a dilapidated, but cozy looking shack. A deer skull hung over the doorway. He knocked, then stepped back.

She doesn't take kindly to visitors, so it's best to step away from the door, lest ye catch a fist to the face.

Agrat shrugs

Wouldn't end well for her frankly, but I'd rather avoid getting blood on my hands. Regardless, you can ask Imp or Tyke what they think of me if you want. You already saw that Imp listened to me when I told her the heart was mine. She didn't back down for no reason you know.

You've never even met her, and you seem so certain of your abilities. Del Toro is not the witch you wish to do that around. While I'm not saying you're weak, I'm saying it's best to tread carefully around her. She wields fearsome magic.

Agrat laughs

I'm sure her magic is powerful, but that won't help her much if she fought me. Regardless, I don't feel like fighting, and I have no issue with her. So long she isn't rude or insulting I don't intend to do anything aside from watch and listen. You should probably knock if you wish to speak to her though.

As she spoke, the door opened, and a middle aged Spanish woman stepped out. She wore a faded ball gown that had long become a mess of patches and rags.

Thomas! It's been so long! Why didn't you visit?

Her voice was almost hypnotic, and he seemed to perk up on hearing it.

Sorry, Juniper. Eldritch gods trying to break out and all. I just haven't had time.
