Emily, do you think you would be able to put a curse of indestructibility on this? I think Oiwa won't be able to destroy it next time if you can. Spirits have limits to how much power they can have. Maybe you could put one on Shade's fancy knife.

Emily shakes her head

Nope. Nothing can be completely indestructible. Any magic can be undone with the right knowledge or power. Besides, curses and enchantments are more my sister's thing. More so curses. My skill is mostly in building golems, and other magic creations and devices. I mean, I could probably make a new gem for you given some time and with a bit of studying your current one. Maybe not as good as an Atlantean one, but it would still be a soul gem.

I once made a pretty useful sword. Called it demon slayer. I'll let you figure out what it's purpose is. Not sure where it's at now though. Should have this door open in a bit. Patch yourselves up if need be, and ask any questions you got.

Black pulls his sword from it's sheath.

This sword here separates flesh from life. That's how I was able to defeat the undead fellows. I have an idea of how to make this gem indestructible. For real.

She shrugs

Eh, just be careful. Super powerful magic can have some nasty side effects. Not to mention even if you make it indestructible, someone could just steal and hide it. Or lock it away.

Nice sword though. Not the most useful ability, but handy for undead.

Emily, I won't be going anywhere unless I get some upgrades. I ain't truly undead. Just an old man kept going by even older clockwork. I need tremendous amounts of power to keep going, and I used what I had left down in the catacombs.

[Leo]

Emily can give you some temporary power. There is a which hut about two miles west of here. You can get upgrades there. Emily can give you just enough to get over there.

Emily get's up and shrugs

I mean maybe? Would prefer having a look at what I'm working with before making any promises. Gimme a minute, think I can do something with some of this rubble.

She quickly gathers up several pieces of stone, and begins burning, melting and merging them while muttering and drawing runes. After about a minute a very crude stone golem is made. Emily frowns

Not a very good golem, but I don't have my usual tools or materials. I'll have this fellow stand watch at the door. Let's head to that witch cottage. Wonder whose it is? Regardless maybe they'll have some tools and I can make a better golem. Let's head out. I'll see if I can give any energy to you while we head out.

[Henry Avery]

Very well. He searched through the rubble, finding a suitable piece of wood to use as a crutch, setting off towards the witch hut.

[Leo]

It's two witches. Their names are Thelma and Marla. We go way back... you know what, now that I'm remembering, things didn't end too well the last time I saw them. Maybe I should bring them a gift.

Black runs off into the fog. He emerges a few minutes later with an armful of rusty objects.

When they see all the junk I'm bringing them, they will forget about our troubled history.

Emily shrugs as she rummages through her robes

Eh, pretty sure I got some trinkets that might interest them. So on a scale of 1 to 10 how powerful are they? I'm gonna guess a 5. The greatest witches like myself don't live in cottages, we live in caves. Well unless you ask one of those snobs who like to live in clouds. Like my cousin. I could have a home up there too, but what happens if you run out of magic? You fall and die, that's what. And it's so damn bright that high up, I'd burn alive!

She looks to Shade

you know if you want, we could probably steal a horse from the stables for you to ride. Honestly might be faster if we ride the 2 miles anyway.
