Emily shrugs.

Well to be perfectly honest, she might actually be insane, it isn't exactly "healthy" to be around a lot of really powerful magic for very long. Can have all sorts of nasty side effects if one isn't careful. Insanity, being one of the more common ones. Though when I talked with her she seemed as sane as she ever was.

Emily thinks hard for a few moments.

But thinking about it, it doesn't sound like an awful idea. Hell I dare say its a pretty bloody brilliant one. Breed a specific creature, like a cow for example, use a bit of magic, then turn the beasts flesh into a boat. Not entirely different from planting a forest with the intent to turn the wood to ships, or using cow skin for leather armor. A major benefit is a group of animals grow much faster then a forest. Granted its a rather disgusting thought, so as much as I think its a clever idea, I think I'm going to pass on trying to copy it for myself.

I rather eat the cow though. And for bigger ships, that can be extremely many cows.

Emily laughs.

A fair point, but cows are just an example I threw out there. And with a bit of magic, you can make cows grow a good bit bigger then normal and grow faster then normal. I think it would be cows it was made of though. Seems like the best and most obvious choice.

Emily finishes her food and stands up.

Well. That was nice. I got work and studying to do. I am very curios about what she used for that ship.

Brian calls out to her.

What exactly are you working on at the moment anyway.

Emily smiles quite proudly.

What i believe will be my Magnum Opus. Something so amazing and great, that even if i do live to be a 1000, i do not think i will be able to top this. But i won't say much more then that.

Emily starts heading back to her cavern, before turning and tossing about 10 amulets back to the others.

Your all welcome in my cavern and tower if you wish to enter it. Just wear those, and stick to the path.

Emily heads back into her cavern while Brian downs another mug of rum.

The priest looks to Brian

Hold on there mate, moderation in all things is key for a pastor.

The young woman smiles

My name is Elizabeth, our son's name is John.

Jack looks to the boy, as if he expects him to say something, he smiles and says nothing.

Brian laughs as he stands up grabs a few apples from a nearby crate, and starts juggling them. He smiles to the priest

Back before I was a pastor, I could handle quite a lot of rum. Normally could down 4 mugs before I got tipsy. I'm on my 2nd now. But ill only take one more before I call it quits.

Brian stops juggling and sets the apples back down. He gets himself one more mug of rum before sitting back down. Carl, however feels like that they are forgetting something before standing up, grabbing an amulet and starts heading towards Emily's cave, though he says to Brian before leaving.

Emily forgot to tell us where Nelly went. Ill go ask her right quick.

Brian nods as he starts drinking his last mug of rum.

Sure thing. We ain't going anywhere anytime soon.

Jack takes a drink of wine

I hope finding her won't take forever, I have things to do.

Elizabeth looks at jack slightly mischievously

You promised you'd be here for awhile.

Jack looks back

Don't worry, after this I won't leave for a good long while.

Brian thinks for a moment.

Emily said Veera told her exactly where she is. Now while i wouldn't trust Veera, i do think she wouldn't lie to Emily. She may have not cared for Ellen, but she always had a soft spot for Em. Besides, apperently Nelly was an apprentice for Veera before running off with some of her stuff to join the cult. And as petty and vindictive as Veera is, she wouldn't let that slide, but she probably wouldn't care enough to deal with her personally, and she knew we wanted her dead, so it makes sense to tell us to deal with her.

Emily comes back into the tent, and says in a rather tired voice.

Sorry for forgetting to tell ya where she's at. Veera said she is hiding in the valley near the fort the cult was at. In a cave way in the back. Veera said she apparently hired a very good guard to keep people out. She advised how to deal with the guard however.

Emily looks a bit serious for a moment.

Veera said she only has one guard, but she didn't say who or what it was. But she gave me advice on how to deal with it. The cave is fairly long, but also narrow, and its a straight path. We won't be able to sneak in. Regardless we can head there in the morning. I know you hate magic jack, but i can get us over there instantly with it, we can handle the whole issue in a day. But if you want to sail instead, and spend a couple weeks at sea travelling there you can do so. Or honestly, I could probably handle the woman myself, or perhaps with a bit of help from Carl and Brian. But i take it you want to see her dead personally. Ill let you think about it, but, i think your wife would prefer the shorter option. For now i need to rest. I am exhausted, dealing with family is tiring.

Emily begins heading to her cave, before shouting to Jack.

Head to my tower tomorrow morning. Remember the amulet, stick to the path, and bring Brian, Carl and Agnar with you. If you decide to use magic, I won't be able to bring more then a handful of people. See you then.
