The Card Market

Like the stock market, daily reports on the markets, average prices and what cards are worth at the time (ie. in war, value of fugitives sky rocket) and all that stuff. Even make special deals with each other here. Brought to you, by Fox, The Other Pastries of Avonmora

The value of the card market today has taken signifigant drops with, thats right, HIGHLY INFLATED PRICES. See, the amount of credits the high voodoo players have has taken drops so now they are selling off stocks, at high prices, impossible for the lower middle class player (5credits). In Avonmora though, we have not been able to combat the inflation because players aren't making enough credits, and arent buying them so when we see 1 card for 10 credits, that's due to middle class players trying to make it to the big life, stay away from buying cards.

On the flip side, due to this there have been a larger number of smart players selling cards at their actual value to adjust to the amount of credits in a player's pockets. Sadly, these cards that are selling for low low prices, aren't the best, and aren't even worth 1 credit. Overall, the value of the cards and the overall market is at it's lows and I know they say buy low sell high, if these cards aren't going to gain value, then you just wasted your credits. SO, yes, inflation is being battled, but not in the way we need.

Be on the lookout for players who are being smart, making the starting price of high value cards like, call leviathan and putting them way below their value. I once put the base price of a CL at 4 credits and watched players skyrocket that to 2 times it's value at 20 credits. The best cards to stock up on right now are Swarm of Warms, they're valued at 8 credits a card but you will find them being sold LOW for 1 credit. Buy them now and instead of keeping them, resell them at actual value, stock them up until a war when this destructive card's value increases to even higher than its 8 credit value.

Sadly, right now isn't a good market for these high value cards not only because of low credits in players pockets, but because there is no market for them. Take a look at the wishlist, we don't see this 8+ valued cards anymore and because Avonmora is a peacful place and there's no need. But in peace there's merchants, so if your a pirate with useless East/West Trading Companies, SELL NOW

That's the Card Market Report, tune in next time!

Due to an increase of people trying to complete the nations feature Charity Donation has found new value, above it's old increased value, if you base the price of this card at 7 credits, expect some bids the second time around.

The value of Master Craftsmanship has actually DECREASED Everyone thinks their goal is to have 60attribute sols but the market and people who Can build sols at that rate has dwindled, and due to this and the value of this card being so high from when people were building 60s the price is a lot higher than people want it to be. ie. The value of this card during the time of 60s was around 17credits after bidding. Now that that time has passed, the price remains to be based at 20, but NOT being bought. The problem is the price isn't adjusting due to change in market, and that's hurting the market. The new value at this point is actually 8 credits MAX. If bidding passes that, STOP, it is OVERRATED.

I reiterate that East/West India Companies are the way to get rich fast, sell now!

Also, with an increase in marquesses lately, they've been looking for cheap ways (including me) to upgrade their new Man-of-War, so, I know, you've probably been saving you Expedition Journey for the right moment, and now, the market is big for them, they will sell at a base price of even 20credits You want to sell these now, before their value drops back down to 10c.
