Hi guys,

The game is progressing very well overall.

Just a suggestion why can't we have a Pirate King in the game, a pirate code, and pirate ranks in the game.

Diplomacy between the pirates, but not with nations, whereas nations can do diplomacy with nations not pirates.

We can have many things for pirates also in this game.

Different groups/types of pirates is also possible.

Again, this is just a suggestion.

I like the sense of having A pirate king - But how will it be judged best pirate flying jolly roger with most battles?

there is no "pirate king" the label that ZJ has given himself holds no international merit as a title of nobility.

It holds a title of power, not of influence(ish).

in the nation "pirate" there is no KING, as there is no TAXES or such.... Everyone there can hit everyone else.

In a nation, for example, Portugal. There IS a king because it is a nation that has its own citizens.

So a king, should not be judged by strength, or by most normal means.

Perhaps a "vote" of current members of the pirate nation can choose someone to call a "king" for a certain time, as there is no true Pirate King, its got to be limited and changeable.

Measured by those who follow one pirate, who has the most followers within the nation pirates?

Imo, Avonmora already has its band of true pirates with a pirate king

Its just not declared so that everybody knows, but hey why do pirates want to go around telling that they are the pirates and there is a pirate king ?

I thought every pirate was a king.. well, in their own eyes anyway : its a contradiction to be frank : pirates have no nation and were generally proud of that fact : so the notion of there being a king of a non-existent nation is a bit silly.

Where is this guild then? I certainly can not find it, if you are talking about The Inactive Kings, yeah they WERE pirates now inactives. No, you can't go to hell ; That is the second prize.

Calling yourself something and actually being it are not the one and same thing : any clown can call themselves a King of Dancing, that doesnt mean they can dance : there are special quiet places full of would-be kings : the walls are often padded for such folk often injure themselves through ill-conceived actions or the irrational behavior common amongst the delusional.

Back on topic.....

Think of the "pirate king" as an ELECTED official.... as most PIRATES were pirates to escape the tyranny of a king....

Elected officials could work via the nation voting tables already existing....

And a pirate king would have to garnish the MOST votes among his fellow terrors...

ONLY those in a PIRATE nation could be a PIRATE, as they follow no central authority...
