Hostity:Under normal circumstances it would be impossible tp enter a port you are hostile with or (nation in control of port). Why not let players with mkre than one thousand hostility towards a nation can't enter a port owned by them. This will allow players to have better relation with nations and for you to see which player/nation is at war with someone.
Pardon: A player who was very hostile to a nation or player should pay a fee this fee is called a pardon. If you don't pay this you will not be able to message the player, join there nation, enter their ports, send money and/or recieve gold from a player of the nation. Also governor of the port can pardon you at a cost of $100, 000 gc.
Smuggling: While searching for NPC fleets you can run into a massive blockade and they offer you a chance to escape by smuggling some goods into a port for them. If you refuse you have to face them with two options.
Run: Try and escape but sailing away
Board: Jump onboard and attack the fleet.
With that said please don't be harsh I am still new and exloring the game, if there is already a way to do these I haven't found it.
Thank you,
Sir William Kidd.

Variations of your suggestions have been brought forward from other players. Devs are slowly making the game more in depth so these types of improvements can be implemented

Wow wait a min there... Where would I be based?... i have 1k Hostility at least with every nation?... Which means I would have to pay 2.1 Million gold coins a day to have all my fleets arrive at each and every port... So, basically, no ships that means for me - No play.
-1 to that idea.

These ideas are very good Barthlomew. They need more elements to be implemented but the inspiration that comes from them almost requires you to keep posting your ideas.

Interesting. Visiting a port in this game doesn't mean that your fleet enters the port but rather it is in the immediate vicinity of the port. But to trade in that port would require entering it. That could be restricted. But if someone with a fleet at that port was willing to "smuggle" goods in and out for the pirate they could trade normally there. The "smuggler" would receive a commission (% of the transaction) but also run a risk of discovery (small %) that would result in them losing some influence (some % of total influence) in that port.
The chance of discovery could be dependent on the type of ships in the fleet doing the smuggling. Small, fast ships being lower chance and big, slower ships being higher chance. Warships (Brigs - SOTL - MOW) would be very high chance.
Discovery could mean the loss of the fleet to the nation controlling the port and a loss of a % of their influence in that port. The smuggler could save the fleet by losing an additional % of influence. (Calling in favors etc.)
This would mean that a smuggler would want to have a fair amount of influence in a port to smuggle safely...greasing the palms of the right people etc. If not, then they risk losing their smuggling fleet.
Just throwing this out there....

I like this idea but 1000 hostility is a bit too minimal to not enter a port. Plus if we have this, what will be the point of blockades when the idea of the blockade is to stop incoming traffic at a port? This will kill the idea. However, taken with a grain of salt the ideas have merit.
I was thinking that for every 2500 hostility to a nation, the player cannot enter a random port selected randomly by the system. 1000 is very low, and if this and blockades would be implemented, then one or the other would be useless at some point in the scale.
Move to discussion is my vote.

1000 Hostility is 100 battles against a particular nation.
