The problem with plantations

Any game related discussion can take place here. Examples: Discuss about how bad the merchant rates have been lately, how rich you have became by following this specific strategy which now needs to stop etc etc

Why can’t the plantation have a naval base or fortress with cannons to repel the attackers. Many of the guards can be stationed further inland to repel the attacking pirates. This can became a game of strategy pretty fast but to do so will have significant development efforts

There is no problem with Plantations.. Move along.. Nothing to see here.....
