Sahqon's Wishlist
---------------------------------------------------

1.) Flagships:

http://www.piratesglory.com/forums/view ... t=Flagship

2.) Ship upgrade abilities with a side ship interface:
Interface Example:
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/imag ... 3291_b.jpg
On the side of the ship visualize this:

There are red squares around each cannon on the side of this ship, on a part of the hull, on each of the sails, and on each of the masts.

Imagine clicking a square. There is now a small window that pulls up. The inside of it has a list of options.
These options are listed like this depending on what square.

When clicking a square around a cannon:
Round type

Barrel type

Gun Port
----------------------------------------
When clicking a square on a sail:

Sail Type
----------------------------------------
When clicking a square on a mast:

Mast Type
----------------------------------------
When clicking a square on the hull:

Hull Type
----------------------------------------

The Round Type is arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Round Shot: Standard shot type. [Sets the base damage for other types of shots.]

-Chained Dual-Shots: Targets enemy ship's sails and masts. Deals heavy damage to sails (except leather) and masts with 65% more damage, but less damage to the hull with 35% less per shot. Slows the enemy ship. 85% crit chance to sails (excluding Leather) and 45% to masts per shot.

-Grape Shot: Deals significant damage to the crew, but misses more often. Deals 35% less damage to sail and hull per shot. Does 50% more damage to crew per shot. 0% crit chances.

-Oiled Shot: Deals heavy damage to enemy ship and crew. However, misfires quite often and can set own cannons and ship on fire. Chances of this are 15% per shot. 75% high crit chances to self and enemy ship per shot.

-Spiked shots: Deals heavy damage to enemy cannons and equipment. However, this can damage the barrel of your own cannons. Decreases accuracy and increases chances to misfire by 10% per shot. A 10% chance to destroy own cannons when firing and damage crew operating cannon per shot.

-Cursed Shots: Destroys enemy crew morale with shots cursed by a witch doctor. Gives the enemy crew horrible visions and destroys their sanity. However, the crew operating the cannons with the cursed shots may suffer as well. Deals heavy damage to enemy morale, but deals less damage to the ship by 45% per shot.

The Barrel Type is arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Smooth Bore Cannons: Standard barrel type. [Sets the base damage for other types of cannons.]

-Rifled Cannons: Increased accuracy of cannons, but deals less damage to the hull by 15% and sails 30%. Increases crit chance by 30% to hulls, but 30% less crit chance to sails. Increased damage to masts by 45%.
(Hoping to come up with more barrel types)

The Gun Port Type is arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Fixed Port: Standard port (no movement of the cannon.)

-Vertical Port: Allows pitching of the cannon's barrel (Moves along the Y-axis of the barrel or moves vertically.)

-Horizon Port: Allows yaw of the cannon's barrel (moves along the X-axis of the barrel or moves horizontally.)

The Sail Type is arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Cotton Sails: Standard Type. [Sets base speed, health, and resistance to fire of the type of sail without percentages in.]

-Silk Sails: Increases speed of the ship by 15% per sail on each mast due to the weight and takes 20% more damage from chained shots.

-Leather Sails: Reduces speed of the ship by 30% per sail on each mast because of the weight, but has a 75% less chance to burn when hit by oiled shots and takes 70% less damage from chained shots. Each sail also takes 10% less from all other shots and has 50% increased health.

-Wool Sails: Greatly resistant to fire with only a 10% chance (on each sail) to catch fire and its fiber strength increases health by 25% on each sail. It's heavier of that to cotton, so decreases speed by 10% per sail on each mast.

The Mast Type is arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Oak Mast: Standard Type. [Sets base health, sail capacity, resistance to fire and shots, and weight (affects speed of ship and damage of mast if it breaks from the ship and falls down) of the type of mast without percentages added.] All masts have a 50% chance to break and fall from its ship and deals damage to own ship and any other ships in the area of impact when at 85% of original base health.

-Redwood Mast: Extremely thick and heavy. Weight is 40% heavier than that of Oak and has 20% more health. Because of the weight, destroys ships of Galleon's and weaker (ships 1-6 on shipwright chart) and deals high damage to other ships that are in the area of impact of the mast that is falling, holds 1 more sail per mast, and slows the ship by 15% per mast.

-General Sherman Mast: Largest and heaviest mast. Weight is 85% heavier than that of Oak and has 50% more health. Because of the weight, it will destroy ships of Brig and lower on the shipwright list (ships 12 to 1 on shipwright chart.) Will deal excessive damage to all other ships. Adds 2 sails per mast and slows ship by 35% per mast.
Need more ideas for some other masts. :y :xx

The Hull type would be arranged like this:

Spoiler: show
-Oak Hull: Standard hull. [Sets base health of the hull, weight, and resistance.]

-Silver-Lining Hull: Adds 30% resistance to ship-targeting and morale effects (curses and other nonphysical anomalies) and adds 10% more health to hull, but slows the ship by 15% because of the weight.

-Iron-Lining Hull: takes 30% less to damage from shots and add 45% resistance to fire. Makes the ship 25%% slower because of the weight.

-Birch Hull: Makes ship move 20% faster because of the weight, but increases damage taken from fire by 15% and increases damage taken from shots by 15% because of the lighter and less dense material.

Under Barrel Types, Blunt Cannons should be called Smooth Bore Cannons.
