Just discovered an interesting glitch in selling workers in gorum. Skill lvl is rated Expert but it lists workers for sale as Guru.

Are you selling less than the total number of workers you have? If you are, it could be that yoru total count includes sufficient lower skilled workers to lower the overall rating, but the ones for sale average higher.

I think workers all 'meld' together leaving the plant with one overall average that will fall within the parameters set for that skill lvl.

I have purchased unskilled workers and 'flipped' them back onto the market as high skilled workers for sale however, each batch of new workers downgrades your overall average so the stunt can only be repeated so many times without degrading your principle work force

Interesting. I wonder it sells your oldest workers first. I know CJ said there was some mechanics that weren't visible to how that all worked out.

I don't think this particular port workers skill lvl ever reached Guru lvl but, they may be close ? Of course there is no way to determine this as well'.

While on the topic, if I may, generalized info as to what benefits having more skilled workers can bring to a plantation would help in normalizing price/skill lvl ratios.
if the results are hard to see, it is hard to justify commanding higher market prices for such.

Now I know I have drifted too far off topic but it may be a consideration for another forum topic discussion

Additional Info - The issue of discrepancies between reported skill and sales skill appears to go across more rankings than the upper levels.

I can report an instance where workers are listed as "Advanced Beginner" but when placed foe sale, they be listed as "Competent"

Not all port plants exhibit the hiccup. i have 2 plants of expert skill and one lists the 'sale skill' as Guru. The other plant lists 'sale skill' correctly.

Fixed. It was a display issue on workforce page (the correct one was at market page).
