Should be coin, not coins. Coins refers to a number higher then one.
The only problem with that is the function of the code. The text is pre-written out with exception to the value. While not difficult to create CASEs, it becomes a nuisance when only 2 cases exist. It is easier to just change the entire text.

The value of the treasure is <X> gold coin.
Your treasure will never be safe, as long as I'm sailing!
