It would be interesting to have Grim tell us what created this at the first place. Obviously, EotC flag was not removed when it was supposed. Perhaps at King change?

Till we crack this out, at least, you now know how to fix it on your own.

I don't think Kangaroo had made Grim EOC, but will chack With him.
But, Clockwork was automatically removed as EOC when I became rightful king though….

From what i've been told, one can only be EOC in ones current nation, and must be the current rightful king who must make one EOC

That's the intended effect, but there were some bugs early on, as well, if the previous rightful king had them listed as an EOTC, I could see how the mark could carry on, especially if Grim never changed nations. He had to be marked at some point to get the icon at the top, unless the game is just passing it out through some other bug.

True but in some cases clickworks case was this he was made EotC in Bonaire and he moved to St Kitts and icon carried over to SKN and until he wasn't removed from Bonaire list he was EotC in SKN aswell

Could be a bug where the game decided to pass the EOC from Clock to me when the king changed, thinking we are the same person or something.

After testing this theory for fun, it has proven to have an effect.

As a Duke of Spain, I set Grim to EOTC under my settings. While no EOTC list link became available on the council view tab, grim did earn the EOTC crown on his profile. I had another couple players check and they could see it as well. After I removed him from my list the crown disappeared from both my view and the view of other players.

It appears dukes and perhaps others in the nation have a hidden means to create EOTC...
