As we past the middle of the year we are finally given the go ahead. We are now allowed to expand our trading empires not only from ships and warehouses but by producing resources. Now, is this another investment that only expands the horizon of our direction to wealth?
Plantation was an early method of colonisation where settlers went in order to establish a permanent or semi-permanent colonial base (for example for planting tobacco or cotton). Most of the plantations in production are new...very new.
Yet, the workers and owners are complaining about many things....

Workers
• No work, workers are bored and find devious ways to entertain themselves or each other
• Poor wage offers , little food and a lot of work (or vice versa) resulting in unhappy workers
• Poor facility development, workers facing inhumane conditions

Owners
. Difficulty in getting quality equipments to upgrade facilities
. Over hiring
. Cost of land, buildings, resources and workers is expensive
. Not a lucrative venture given the investment

Profit?
Just like the Black Market, the benefits or the plantation will depend on the unbalanced and highly fluctuating prices. Even though many will produvce and store others will definetly export to nearby markets for higher prices, if they don't change. A source from the criminal underworld claims that, "the most notorious criminals in Avonmora are now building plantations. I don't know the advantage or what they have to exploit but they are rushing in!"
The plantation system is expected to fix the dent in many nations' economy, it and it's combined ventures has hauled in some 120 million (that is confirmed) in the last five days. Officials are pushing authorities to hurry and approve the new ventures as they are requested.
