Haunted Couple

Love has always been a great subject to a great part of Avonmora population. What we bring to you today, is something kind of related to it.

There is a tale that tells us about a couple that committed suicide together, in a house placed at Neapolis, a Bermudian port and, whoever lives in that house is able to hear strange knocks, footsteps, some even say they spotted the couple, doing the dishes, cleaning the house and when they tried to get close, they just vanished.

The strangest thing about that is: after each time they vanished, the house owners would get a huge headache and fall to the ground and wake up in bed afterwards, saying what they had experienced but believing it was only a dream. By the first encounters, everyone believed it was actually a dream, but when time passed and every one of the owners suffered the same, some men started wondering around the idea of that house being cursed. By then they didn't know about the couple, they just thought it was strange how something like this could happen so often, to every owner.

So, we looked deeper about this story and we were able to find a picture of the house and some more information about the couple.

The house is exactly located between Kart St. and Loki Greathall Ave. (named after they were crowned King of Bermuda) and

After talking to some of the oldest citizens, we came to the conclusion that we should visit the house and see it for ourselves. Since the owner died last year, we had to ask the King' permission which took us a week. We could also found by talking to the citizens that the couple tried to invoke a minor-God, looks like they were having some troubles with dangerous people so they tried to call for help of a bigger figure which failed, and they ended up opening a path to the world above us, leading those what so called demons to our planet. They had to draw this strange symbol on the ground and do some kind of ritual.

Upon visiting the house, which is for sale at the moment, only house to cats and a large quantity of insects, we could see it was really degraded inside. We tried to found the symbol but we couldn't, we looked everywhere.
But...
When we were leaving, a man named Jetterio came to us, and told us everything we wanted to know, even without asking.. which was really creppy at the moment. The man looked really old and wise but we were only able to find his name and appearance and that he was a Bermuda citizen aswell. He told us the symbol have been erased from the house after the last owner died, but he couldn't tell us the reason. The couple committed suicide because they were cursed by the creatures, wherever they tried to go, those strange figures followed them, until they could not stand it and stood inside house, for years, without even opening a window until... they decided to give up.. believing the portal would close too but.. they were wrong. The couple never really felt dead, they actually stood there, doing the same things they used to do when they were alive. And giving the next owners those nightmares we already talked about earlier. The following owners couldn't see the symbol because it was drawn under the fake house ground, which was destroyed by time.

After the long chat with the man, Jetterio, we went to the Bermudian' central library, which led us to find this page on a book called The book of mysteries wrote by Sir. Romero K. It'all, one of the men that originally searched about the couple and the symbol:



After all, we came to the conclusion that, even after dying, the couple couldn't erase the symbol, because it was kind of connected to them, keeping them alive even when they weren't, and those demons were also bind to them and probably those huge headaches the owners suffered were to help them, for some reason. If they were able to see the couple, why wouldn't the couple be able to see them as well?

The last owner, supposedly, died last year but we found no evidence of that and the strange man told us the symbol has been erased after all these years. Why and how does he knows that? The truth is, we couldn't find it anywhere at the house, so he was at least right about that.
