[5th of November] Sir or Pirate ?

Postby Wazz » Fri Aug 14, 2015 3:27 pm

((ahoy there, first of all, I just want to explain what I'll be doing, or try to do hehe, so.. my idea is writing creative and funny news from around Avonmora, about many stuff. My english isn't the best so I hope everything is in order, I'll check every text twice if necessary for any grammar mistakes. Probably, I'll change the way of posting it later but, for now, I'll stick to 1 notice per thread. The name I've given to it is "5th of November" for many reasons: one of them is, thanks to my friend Wolfie, I've rewatched V for Vendetta and that's where the idea came from, secondly because I couldn't think of anything better :p
I hope you do enjoy it and have a good day! Tell me where I can improve or change, I really appreciate it :) ))

Sir or Pirate?
Published by Wazz
Avonmora, 14th of August, 2015

Our, already known, Sir Roberts now travels the Avonmora Seas by the name of Pirate Roberts. And an important question slowly appears in our minds: What happened? What made him become a Pirate and quit the honorable life he once had?
Some people say he hit a large quantity of gold, so large that he simply quit from a good life and wants to spend the rest of it living like a pirate. Others say that madness overpowered him and made him succumb to it so now, even Sir Roberts, can't handle it. Which one is correct? Which one is not? What might be the real truth? What we know is, he might not be a "Sir" anymore but he is sure well respected.

Let us know what you think!
Grab your best feathers and write us back.

Remember, remember
The 5th of November.

i don't like this thread but i'll talk since Avonmora is quite boring this summer. Ungreatful people made him like this. Rich people made him like this. People that had power in their hands and thought that they could rule the world. People that threatend him and didn't took his talking seriously. People that tried to destroy his plans just becouse they did't liked him. So he destroyed their plans too. Beside all that pirating is fun. the idea that you can win strong people with just a few ships of low cost and a few voodoo is really exciting. He is a young man and excitment is a goal for him not just a word. Now make the same thread about Midway, that is hunting every "weak" member they can win and doesn't let those "weak" players dream or do plans. :) i hope your courage and will for creativity and fun wont end up that fast. :)
I'm here to listen, everybodys beliefs. What i'm expressing, is only my opinion. The name "Dragon" comes from the Greek "drakeîn" meaning "to see clearly".

Last what I heard about our respected Sir Roberts is that he found trasure which was belonged to the William Dampier andhe was cursed because of that...

Some says it is curse, other say if he found his treasure he could be poisoned by some unknown poison as we all know William Dampier was scientist he could easily make it happend...

But once again, those are just stories which I heard in the tavern from othr people those can be true but also those can be only pirate tales...

Well, thanks for your reply, Monkey! I am not able to give my personal opinion about what I write so, I'll just stick to "What happened to him?" :p
The concept of my little writing hobbie is not to create wars or dislikes among our community but to make them enjoy this small amount of words and , perhaps, keep me busy when bored aswell. So, the will for creativity won't end up that fast :p
Hope my next article is more enjoyable for you!

Tis be a pirate and a trader ain't always profitable for you.Try and be kind to a nation they always find one stupid thing to do and stop you.

When these tides change it will be the last pirate fleet to ever sail Avonmora.Tha be no mo pirate in history that will be in Avonmora. Things are already bad and the worst to happen is not having pirates.

Monkey I am just not apart of Midway so please make it clear what you are saying about it. I am just one of the ones who aren't in the democratic party of Midway but stay to myself in my space. Ayecappy be like me we are Midians but not in there community.

I hope this threae and the others continue what ever it is they do. This topic is still new so lets wait and see what happens next time you are here for more information.

you got a point in your talkin Wazz. sorry for being a d***... :D but it's a story that hurts since i was responsible too for his action and before that i was by his side... So i can definatly say that the treasure story is true.. i was there the moment the curse felt uppon him.. it was for sure a scary moment that i don't want to talk about... If you want to learn more take a fast look on his right leg. but don't get cought. you don't want that... :o

Thank you for your reply, A.Agamani! Perhaps, one day, Avonmora will be safe and clean of pirates. But that is a very distant day, for now, citizens must be careful where they roam.

Nah, no problem, mate! You guys are free to give your personal opinions, of course. I just won't take a side, even if Roberts is a friend of mine. Even my, so called "enemies", will have a place on my writings. Anyone, to be honest. I'd just like to keep the peace and create a distraction, dis' summer be boring! :p

Noo… He is not cursed, neither poisoned, I already consulted the most infamous witch of this area (you all heard about her) and she swears in bat wings in that. He found Old William treasure, that's the truth, but he spent it on rum, ''ladies'' and gambling, in One-eyed Joe tavern, all in one day (night, better to say). So, without money, he couldn't be the respectable pretender for a Neapolis governor daughters hand… and he was literally forced to go back to the business… That's the complete truth… ;)

Poor Roberts, after finally restored his reputation and become the trustworthy gentleman and prosperous merchant… what's the doom… what's the doom... :(

Uhm... I fear, this broken man could do something very bad ... bad ... bad...
God help his soul... God help us... Help Avonmora! :(
