Are you a newcomer? We need to hear from you

Ahoy all,
One of the greatest problems we have in Pirates Glory is in keeping newcomers to the game. We do well for anyone that stays here for about 2 months. We do even better for players that stay at least 6 months and we do exceptionally well for anyone that stays here 9 months. The real problem is that it is extremely difficult to get someone to stay here the first two months.
I want to hear from newcomers mostly on what PG lacks and what we can do to help you stay here.

I'm no longer a new player, however I can say that without SSTG I would have quit before 2 months. The addition of more game missions that are designed to train and keep the new player engaged those first 2 months would go a long way to keeping them in game. Lay out a long trail of bread crumbs with very small rewards and that should keep them here at least a bit longer. Could tie those game missions in with time to prevent a new player from speeding through them in a day or two.

I am not newcomer but what I think that it could keep new players around is better tutorials which are directing them twoards better interaction with older players... For example in my case getting meeting Kart and other members of my guild kept me for first 2 months and i achieved personal goal in those 2 months which was becomming king of Bosnia and Herzegovina what i feel that keep players in the game are those small personal goals...

Perhaps some newcomers like instant gratification, but this game does not have that by any means. I realize some people, like Captain Dungeness, have encouraged in guides to give new players gold and other gifts for doing even the smallest of things to keep their interest in the game, and that helped me too.

"New player" game missions can be tied into the "better" tutorials.

I think the first issue is that this game just is not for most people. To many people want fast paced action games. So they join, don't see what they expect or want and and leave. However, when you get going in this game there can be plenty of action should you look for it.
another thing being it is extremely had to get started. I floundered around for a month before I started visiting my guild, and finally started making progress. Joining a guild and participating in the guild is very important.
this brings me to the next point, Guilds have to worry about new players if new players are actually new players of spies, so people that don't act correctly get kicked out of some guilds quickly.
last point - its hard to figure out the do's and don'ts for new players if they are on their own.
like clear rules about milking, multi accounts, appropriate language usage and content posting and how to post in the tavern correctly.
these all can be found if you look around, but I think maybe you should have a conduct guide you must read. Maybe with a couple of
multiple choice answers at the end to make certain the player read it and then give them a reward if the pass, some gc or a couple of credits.
I still consider myself a new player, definitely past the 2 month mark but not by a lot, I have found my way and am having a lot of fun now.
I would probably have left by now if I hadn't gotten involved in a guild.

Sir henry morgan and Captain DaVinci did that for me years ago thats what kept me around i think

I remember when I joined my first guild there were a few of us that were newish so I wasint the only one with questions I was also given a bunch of gold right off the bar and I figured out how to make gold those things made me stay currently I'm in the grindy part of gameplay honestly the guilds that are active are few and far between there easy to find but there's so few of them it seems like power likes to follow power but for some cases that is not true if you get around you meet the new players you get them to stay you can build your own empire from the seafloor up I know the underbelly of avonmora the little known people that play and are known but forgotten with time or known and never talked to

I thought this was already in the tutorials.. Maybe not the older set but the new ones added? Join a guild or create a new one I believe.
