Reset FLeets profits

Postby Bigtea47 » Sat May 21, 2016 1:30 am

Early in the morning here.. New idea
There should be a ability to reset fleets profit. Without of course deleting it and making a new one.
A good way to keep track of profits from fleets that change their jobs.

There are other methods of doing this with simple calculations so I'm not sure this should be a pressing matter when other features need to be implemented.
PM me any complaints (10M gold coin wire fee is mandatory).

Just change up the ships in your fleet....sell them and build them back or reorder your fleets.

With you there is always a simple calculation for everything :)
Why bother improving anything if we can just math it out ;)

"H(x)=(x^2)+1 and K(x)=-(x^2)+4. If K(H)=0
pff no need to make that easy if we can calculate that xD"

Silly you

On a side note. Of course it's not pressing matter. Just something some people would use.

just because you have to do a bit less work or something takes a bit less time doesn't equal an improvement. Part of this game is that it requires a certain amount of intelligence to play and understand. If you start removing anything complicated and replacing it with some mindless button clicking, that trait will be lost and the game will not be changed for the better.

You got a point there. I do like the way the game is complicated, which makes it fun.
But i also feel that some tasks don't require any intelligence. The kind of tasks that have to be done on regular basis and are considered more of a time sinker. (not this suggestion, this suggestion was not as important).
As much as i like making spreadsheet for everything, to calculate everything accurately, i don't wanna have 15 of them :P

+1

Something like adding a new column to fleet profits "Current Trade Route Profit" which resets when you change the trade route.

What is simple and what is not is in the eye of the beholder. Or, to repeat myself: There are three kinds of people; those who know math, and those who don't. :-)
