We are not the ones proposing this card : its not up to us to figure out what you mean by 'various ones' : you need to tell us, here : list them, justify them.

Potential resolution would be to make some specific offensive voodoo cards to add hostility. Some of the offensive cards cannot be included (ie propaganda). It will not change much though due to Hired Diplomat.

If that is the case, then all voodoo cast should cause hostility with the nation of the target, not just a co-citizen : then voodoo and plunder hostility will be the same. Then we should also get rid of Hired Diplomat cards, its too easy to escape ones sins that way.

One can't cast Hired Diplomat on themselves. Another player would have to cast it on them.

True, but you can pay anyone with the card to cast it.

Makes no sense to keep limiting the game play for a select few. If players can't be accountable for their actions then what is the point? Next time you see a person running ranks and you can't toss voodoo on them to slow them down, remember that. This whole topic is B.S., Voodoo is just like the bounty system but you know who is doing it. So if you put a bounty on a player from your own nation then you should receive hostility too. I want player X to fight for their ships, I send the voodoo myself. If this becomes a thing I will drop my account and find something else to do as the whole fun level of the game will be gone.

Although I am not voodoo happy, I agree with this. Penalizing people for using a game feature seems unfair.

I'm so glad you agree that there should be consequences to actions, which is the whole purpose of this discussion.

You do realize that you get hostility points for plunder attacks, even against NPC targets. It's a game feature, and you receive a penalty called hostility points.

Don't worry LT. Most of these suggestions are so far over the top, no way is admin ever going to consider them as even possibly valid.
Essentially some of these guys will not accept that a person that has played for 6 months is not equal in power to a person that has played 2 years.
Just like those who have played 2 years must accept they are not as strong as those who have played for 3-4 years.
