They could be kept working by giving them "pay". The better you pay the guards the better they perform at keeping your other "workers" at work.

Well this is pre-WW2 Dez. If you wanna run your plantation like the Gestapo..More power to you. But I thought the idea of a guard was for plantation warfare.

Dez I am not going to Netflix and chill with you wtf? Seen Schindlers List? Seen Roots? Unless the workers are able to revolt I think your use of the guard this way is unnecessary. They already work longer if you improve the conditions of the plantations. Don’t do that and you know what happens. Do we really need another factor for the workers?
