Yes I believe he is. I've noticed that to. You always need to select the fleet to use when skirmishing. It does not remember the one you check off. Irritates me as well

yes, that is what i mean. my pegleg keeps sticking in those checkboxes when i'm loading my cannons. those poor targets have to endure dreadful seconds of peaceful tranquility they really can do without.

In my opinion, there needs to be a distinction between skirmish and plunder for this option. It can lead to a few losses when plundering with a skirmish fleet. So I have accepted this oversight in the past. Glad to hear it is not just me. Time for a change? Maybe we can have an option for remember skirmish when selecting skirmish and it would not apply to plunder attacks?

The remember checkbox creates Instant link at plunder page.
We can activate it by adding a second link to Gossip page.

Only worry is that there is few space there.
