A game chat room open to everyone. just like guild discussion. add it to the tavern menu.
This would be a great way for noobs to get help and might get player numbers up. even tho we are at war with everyone not in the guild it would be nice to have a place to hang out while our ships are sailing.
you could call it duckies tavern.

If you want me to take this serious, then I'd have to say this already exist, it's called the "Community" tab of the forums which has subtabs for specific task. There is also a forum called help and a subforum where new players get help.
