Brian quickly barks some last minute orders as people hurry into place, and a large gathering of children and women begin heading south. Brian looks about before turning to the sea

Well, the good news is with that many ships, they have no way of using them all at the same time on the port. Aside from having a ton of them run aground and send the men on foot. Course they might just do that.

Meanwhile Veera looks at all the ships smiling. She quickly leans next to her sister and quickly whispers in her ear before vanishing

Give them hell for me Emmy.

Emily quietly nods and sends forth several cannon golems, who fire a large volley from the coast, starting the Siege proper, meanwhile under the waves more golems stand on the sea bottom, and quietly begin releasing barrel mines to float up into the fleet from below.

Large mechanical sharks began kamikazeing the barrels, destroying them before they could reach the ships. The cannonfire from the golems was seemingly absorbed by a barrier of red magic. The fleet had one focus, and that was St. Martins.

Veera comes back suddenly grabbing Emily as she spots Zeph nearby also rushing forward looking alarmed. Both shout at the same time

THERE'S A DAMN FLYING SHIP IN THAT STORM HEADING HERE!

Emily looks confused as Veera and Zeph look to eachother, Zeph stepping up first

I went to try to take control of the storm, or at least slow it down, and I quickly came to realize that there is a flying ship in it, which I think is the cause of it.

Veera steps up next

The citadel I went to infiltrate in Aiora is GONE. After looking around, I quickly realized it flew away as a ship. I put 2 and 2 together and figured it must be in the storm. We need to prepare for an aerial attack.

The armada would arrive in about half an hour, ad the storm was almost on top of them. Multiple tornadoes touched down, propelling the storm forwards.

Veera looks at this and frowns for a moment before turning to Emily and whispering

Plan B is I take the book for myself and run. I think Mel has it, she's old as dirt and has a bunch of crap from the ages. Odds are, it's with her. The port itself doesn't matter after all. Just the book. Still, those tornadoes can't hit the port too much otherwise it would cause friendly fire. Zeph, use what magic you can muster to help control the weather to minimize damage. It may be best if we send a small force to storm the flying ship, and just cut the head off-if Dreadbolt falls, then the rest should follow. We just need a small strike force to be made, and I can get us in.

The massive iron citadel pierced the front of the clouds, hundreds of turrets and cannons firing downwards, decimating buildings and blockades, wreaking havoc on defenders and the fort that protected the bay.

Veera quickly kicks open the door to Mel's cottage, though Mel remains asleep in her rocker, she quickly looks around, and spots an ancient looking book being used to lift a table leg, she snatches it, leaves a replica in it's place and leaves tucking the book in her robes before joining back with her sister. Emily looks to the ship and sighs.

My forces were made to fight land battles mainly, and to help with sea battles with artillery. I have yet to work on anti-air forces. A mistake I will fix. Veera, do you think you can send me, Brian, and a few other's onto the ship to try to reason with Dreadbolt- or if needed kill him? If nothing else, let's make that ship fall.

Veera nods before looking around

Who all want's to join the group heading up? Step forward and volunteer quickly now.

Veera smiles

Wouldn't that be quite the entertaining sight though? Ideally, we could steer it to land on his armada, but it's not like the port itself holds any value to us. I'll send a group up there, once there, they could split up, one group to find and fight or negotiate with Dreadbolt, the other to figure out what's making it fly and blowing it up. Losing that ship would be a nasty blow to Dreadbolt. Feel like helping to make it fall Alastor? Again, would be quite the sight if it lands on a good target.

Alastor sighs, chuckling.

I know you're playing me... But you're right... Let's bring that ****** down to our level.
