Agrat shrugs

My guess is he wished to woo a relative of mine. Perhaps he enchanted the bouquet to help with that. Perhaps, you are losing your mind. Perhaps a third party did something behind your back or his. I do not have all the answers, just some. May I see the bouquet? I may be able to find out more if I see and examine it first hand. Afterwards I'll give it back. I don't much care for more wealth these days.

AuntyJaynieDarling reaches under her cloak and produces the bouquet. It shimmers and shines and glitters brightly forcing light particles too spray from under the table.
Aunty cannot be too subtle about this no matter how hard she tries.

There is something about it...this bouquet.. Aunty is flummoxed.. but she is also overwhelmed with a feeling to go back to that man...She does not know why.. but it is getting hard for her to ignore let alone resist and deny.

Her eyes plead to Agrat.." W..what is it? What's happening to me?"

Agrat looks the bouquet over and just frowns a little. Before looking to Aunty and touching her forehead-sending a very painful zap through her head and down her body, before taking the bouquet and stashing it in a bag.

Feel better? He had an enchantment on it. A real strong one too. Rather angry that he would try to do something like this to my kin. How are you feeling now? I can zap you some more if you still feel any feelings?

An intense flash of light and AuntyJaynieDarlings' mind goes completely blank. She stares ahead almost catatonic.
She slowly raises her eyes to look at Agrat ... but she sees nothing - she is blind.

"Er.. no Agrat.. I do not feel fine... I cant see..You blinded me.. and I bet you took my bouquet too " Aunty desperately feels all over the table for the bouquet...

Agrat pats her head a little and gently speaks as a soothing warmth creeps down her body

Relax, your eyes will start working again soon. He put a real powerful enchantment on that "gift" so it takes a lot to break it. As soon as I remove the enchantment on it, I'll gladly let you have it if you still want it.

Agrat quickly takes her other hand and presses it to her forehead, sending a little zap, and forcing her eyes to work again. Giving a rather painful headache, that is slowly soothed by her other hand. Agrat gently speaks

That should do it I think. Feel better now? Or do I need to keep at it? Feel any loving feelings of that man?

Down in the harbor, massive vollies of cannonfire are heard, coupled with explosions and screams. townspeople run past the pub, the shy filling with ash and smoke, as though the very gates of Hell have opened. The air is filled with demonic screeching, and the sound of leathery wings can be heard.

AuntyJaynieDarling is appreciative of Agrats soothing voice. Relaxing somewhat she takes another breath and opens her eyes once again... Things are little blurry but she is relieved her sight is in fact returning.

'Agrat.. thank you. I dont know what Im feeling. This is foreign to me. I am heady and giddy and laughing like a young girl one moment and the next I am thinking about tracking down that strange man ... Ifeel like I must.. like someones life depends on it or whatever it is.. I just feel the need to go after him...

I must say tho, he didn't smell human to me ..

Let me see if I have this right...Are you saying the bouquet was intended for your own sister? And it was enchanted with a love spell to draw her to him? And she didnt show up here as they had arranged? And I copped the spell?

Just at that moment the entire tavern turned to uproar.. screaming and a-screeching and folk rushing everywhere in manic chaos... Aunty is more confused than ever...

Agrat shakes her head laughing

Oh no, not my sister at all. Though I do have many sisters. Despite my young look, I'm a bit older then I appear. Veera is one of my grandchildren. As for her not showing up, she had a feeling that someone or something was looking for her though she knew not why, and so she did what she often does when trouble is on her doorstep and she does not know how to deal with it-she went and hid until things died down or she figured things out.

Although it sounds like more trouble is coming to this port. How good are you in a fight sweetie? I'm more of a lover then a fighter myself, though I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

I can wield a sword and thrust a dagger like any man... however my greatest skill is in my eye contact with just the right amount of rum.. without rum my magic does not work... rum is the catalyst for great works...
But I do not know where the limit is ... and this has always been a problem.. my magic is random and hit and miss unless I get the amount of rum consumed right ...

She looks to the crowd.. and with a sweeping motion of her arm embraces the current turmoil in the tavern>>

Agrat stands up and walks out the door to look into the port. She quickly takes note of the fort and other defenses fighting back best they can, she stretches a bit as she readies herself before speaking

More of a mage then a fighter, so I'd like it if we had a person to serve as a meat shield. Got any friends, if not I can probably call in a favor if need be.
