The fake just grins as it approaches him. It lists a variety of horrifying things it intends to do to Jack's wife and children after it kill him that makes even him feel sick to his stomach. Worse it seems the fake is getting bigger and stronger every minute as it grabs hold of Jack and smashes him against the wall. Agnar and Mikkel both knock him off, as Carl and Brian both follow suit and stand in a defenseive postion. The fake glares at them as it moves back toward Jack before shouting.

Come here you insolent little rat. For every minute you anger me, that's one more hour ill add to the time I will spend on your family torturing them before I send them to you.

The fake approaches Jack once more.

[Jack Teach]

Jack smiles

And the more you torture them, the deeper in the eternal fire you shall go.

Jack bludgeons him on the head and then moves away from his reach.

The beast just laughs as it smashes the group away before it rushes forward and leaps on top of Jack crushing him. It begins to strangle him as it stares into his eyes.

Ive been through hell plenty enough times. It bothers me not. But I will take great joy in watching the life fade from your eyes as I kill you.

As it slowly begins strangling Jack to death, it continues getting bigger, as it starts to feel strange, and bizarre growths start to grow on it. It stumbles back, before it can finish Jack as he catches his breath. The fake looks confused as it begins mutating horribly. It shouts in rage at Vune.

What's happening to me. I heard it from you yourself that the pool was to make one immortal. And to make one nearly indestructible. Why is this happening to me.

Vune just laughs.

That ritual was specifically made for the Hellvune family- Which consists of me, my sister, and my nieces Emily, Ellen and Veera.-it had our blood in mind when created-and Jack does not share that blood. So, while it would work fine for a member of our family, someone not a part of it. Well, they end up like you.

The fake continues to morph and change, and grow, swelling up to the size of a elephant, Vune quickly makes a barrier around herself and Emily as he explodes, coating the room in guts and gore. Emily just looks to Vune.

So that's why you let him use it. You knew it would kill him since he wasn't a part of our family.

Vune nods as she looks to Jack

Well, it took longer then I thought for him to die though, messier too. Good job Jack, you fought well.

Jack gets up

Thank you. Now, I must be going, I have a lot of shit to rebuild, and a reputation to fix.

Vune just shakes her head.

That won't be too much of an issue. Dow's already went and told everyone it was just an imposter the whole time, and Ell is replacing the ships you lost.

out of the gore of the remains of the fake the spectre reforms and just glares at Jack as it approaches him, but it stops after a moment before speaking.

I will have my vengeance. On the religious, and more importantly on you. And if you die before I claim it, then I will hunt your children, and your children's children and so on until I get my revenge.

The spectre disappears as Jack feels a burn on his hand. Vune looks at it and shakes her head.

Well your marked now. That's going to be unpleasant for you and your family.

A small black skull is now on Jack's hand.

The priest walks in (he was busy helping the citizens) and sees Jack's hand. He waves his hand and yells something and the mark disappears. The specter feels itself pulled into a place of extreme beauty, a man on a seat points to his left and the specter falls into a pit of lava, miles above the door slams closed.

[Meliva]

The spectre simply smiles as it falls into the lava, before it forces itself back into the world. The mark reappears on jacks hand burning even hotter, as the priest suddenly finds himself vomiting. The spectre's voice can be heard as it laughs.

I told you before. Ive been to hell and through it, but no matter how many times i am killed, no matter how many times i am banished until my vengeance is sated I will always return, and I will never relent.

Vune just shakes her head and looks to the priest.

you know, i have little respect for the religious myself, and i hate to tell you how to do your job, but have you considered, oh i dunno, going to the bloody spectre's desecrated corpse and putting it to rest? Because a spirit of vengeance like that won't rest or relent until it either gets revenge or its corpse is put to rest.

[Jack Teach]

The priest nods and looks around.

It's corpse is everywhere.

Vune just puts her hand up to her mask and shakes her head.

Your not the brightest man are you? This is NOT its corpse. This was just a clone of Jack. Nothing more then a vessel it was using. Its actual corpse last I checked was in the caves where you first met the damn thing. Yet instead of putting the corpses in that cave to rest, you instead chose to bless the port. Ironically had you blessed the caves that might have solved the problem way back then. Possibly at least.

The priest simply walks away, jack follows.
