John nods and walks towards the tavern.

The Boar's Head Inn is huge and is packed with patrons. The walls are stark white and the room is lit up with many lanterns hung along the walls. The room is clean and smells strongly of good food. As they sit down at a nearby table, a platter of roast beef and bread is set before them and is laid out on plates which are distributed to each of them. A platter of fresh fruit, two jugs of beer, and small glasses of rum are also set before them.

Carl cheers as he downs his rum, while Brian takes a drink of beer. Carl looks around a bit before nodding to Jack and Brian

So then, let's spend the next few hours recounting our amazing little raid to our new friend here and anyone willing to listen.

Carl begins recounting the tale, letting Jack and Brian Throw in their own details and points of view.

Jack makes a plate and then talks about the various parts of the raid, taking great delight in describing the main battle and his use of the sloops. The patrons all stare at the men recounting their stories with rapt attention, a few asking questions about various things that happened on the raid.

Again, don't come into RP's unless you're actually going to contribute to the RP properly and not just be off topic. Warning given.

Brian gives a big smile as he talks about his clever trap of rigging one of the ships to blow up. Though Carl jokes about how he had his lucky red shirt and brown pants in that ship.

A man dressed in black enters the room and hands Jack a piece of paper and leaves. Jack reads it and his eyes become as wide as plates. He hands the letter to Brian. The money that the French stocked up was meant to finance many large pirate groups over a space of five years, which means that the shares are enough to set up each ordinary sailor up for life if he wishes. It's more than enough to set up each of the Captains for life in very handsome estates.

Alrighty that's basically where we'll end with this one. Just put down what your character does with their share and it'll be over.

Cool. This was a lot of fun. Thanks for doing it Jack

Carl and Brian, spend a few days talking about what to do with their shares, before coming to an agreement. Carl, wanting to keep having adventures and fun decides to keep privateering and running around-while Brian, settles down becoming a full-time pastor-though he occasionally joins Carl on an adventure or journey. Carl meanwhile struggles at first without Brian to balance out his crazy, but eventually he finds a good 2nd who helps balance things out. They both still will join Jack and other friends in future adventures should he need the help, or if they have nothing to do.

Jack goes and buys an excluded estate in Tortuga. The estate is surrounded by palm trees and a high wall. Jack then takes a job as an advisor on a defensive board set up by the governor of Tortuga which is set up to defend the port. Jack is then tasked with supervising the building of a fort and spends his spare time translating books and learning languages. He occasionally goes on patrol on anti-piracy patrols with his fast Bermuda sloops, leaving his frigate at the docks.
