RolePlay Pirates in Prote

[Argo]

Argo has a feeling to return to the docks. She looks to Jack who seems to be ignoring her lol and she heads out the tavern door.
As she approaches a golden glow seems to emanate for the harbour .. "Ah yes" and she runs the rest of the way, grabbing a sloop she arrives at the ship in no time. Climbing aboard she is giddy from all the gold that surrounds her .. and lots of dead pirates laying around.. Stepping over them, she makes her way to the main cabin and knocks on the door ..

The door swings open and Argo sees Meliva and a crone she assumes is Enrika .. She nods to them ..not sure quite what to expect of Enrika ..

[Jack Teach]

Jack, looking very alert, steps into the main cabin with a wicked grin on his face

So, what'll happen to this thing now that it is in your possession?

He looks at argo

[Argo]

Argo whispers quietly to Jack - "Sh now Jack - I didn't be expecting Enrika to be here - There is something on board hidden somewhere in the panels I must have... It is a small chest) .Her fingers reach for a golden key around her neck ..
"Once I have that, I have no need of the ship .. and you shall be paid..
The ship will be yours and Meliva's as payment to do with however you wish ...

There is a sudden silence. Argo turns to look at the two women ..

[Meliva]

Mel just smiles

Yeah those pirates from before tried to sneak off with the ship. We took care of them. Me and Enrika were just catching up as it were. She'll be leaving soon enough. Though might come back from time to time just to check on her old ship.

Enrika nods and silently leaves after saying goodbye to Mel.

[Jack Teach]

Well, shall we go looking for the passages?

[Argo]

Argo turns to leave the cabin then looks to Mel .. " Hey wait! This ship is pretty big ... could take days or even weeks... and I'm not really interested bringing the rest of that motley crew out there in on it - Id never see it should one of them actually find it - Don't you have a pendulum or something that could maybe help us locate it?"

[Meliva]

Mel nods

I suppose I could use some magic to find it if you want. Don't know why you didn't just ask Enrika to tell you, not like she's using it these days anyway.

Mel chants a few words before walking to the ships mast and uncovering a hidden panel with a small chest inside it. She tosses it to Argo.

There are other hidden panels I think, but I believe that's what you wanted.

[Argo]

Argo smiles and grabs the wee chest with both hands.."Aaah thank you, Mel... that was easy no? As for not asking... well.. I didn't ask Enrika bc I've never met her before .. I mean, heard stories n all - But as I just employed a crew to steal one of the most legendary ships of all time .. er..her ship - the golden ship of the undead , I just walk into her cabin and say, 'Gimme what I want - hand it over" ?..
What do you think I am? A pirate or something??"

She nods good naturedly at Mel and Jack ... She seems very happy indeed. " Well, thanks again ... still enough food and drink at the tavern for all of you and paid for over the next 24 hours as a bonus - Ill be leaving now .. the ship is yours.. there be enough spoils in the superstructure alone to pay the crew well - I'm sure Mel will give you a fair deal , Jack'

She laughs happily as she leaves the cabin door open behind her.At last this little chest is in her hands - She cant help a quiet but excited "Muwaha' escape from her smiling lips

Jack looks to mel

Well, that's that I suppose. How shall we split the ship?

[Argo]

Almost skipping along the dock Argo feels the ground below her shake .. Saving herself from tripping she turns to look at the ship>> It too is shaking .. The wee chest in her hands begins to burn her fingers so she drops it into her big leather bag.

The ground shake builds in intensity. She runs on.
