They could have. As soon as I was informed I had been picked I contacted Dez. Only 3 or 4 picks had been made after me so it would have been quite easy to rectify the situation. But it would have required Dez to admit he had made a mistake. We all know Dez would never admit to that at all, so he just let the draft continue and proceeded to disrespect me in Slack chat....

Imagine that.... the PG Slack chat admin disrespecting people in Slack chat as a PG admin representative for following the guides he set forth in the Draft OP. Somehow I was the problem for following the guidelines he set forth.

Curious..... does me pointing out the issue in a private email, not in a public forum, and Dez doing nothing about it, and then bitching about it in Slack say more about me or the people running the draft.

Well I'm sorry that you were selected Feniks against your wishes. It was not intentional. I was not made aware that you had told Argo before the start of the draft. As such I followed the rules as I laid out. No hypocrisy. By the time you had made mention to me that you told "Argo", it was 2 rounds past your selection, not 3 or 4 picks. You notified me when you were picked after Leo inadvertently selected you after you were previously selected. Making the original captain repick at that point would result in more problems than they would resolve. The only viable option was to continue forward. I gave you an option to not receive the achievement or any prizes.

What did you expect? That we restart the entire draft because someone selected you in a Fantasy Draft game on a forum? That's just unrealistic.

Well that’s just Dez..he complains about you complaining. He really should fix the mistake. It happens. But it is a shame when you, Feniks, are an ultimate addition to anyones dream team. I think you crazy for bowing out lol. But you have your reasons and they should be honored.

I sent the email 4-5 picks after I was selected. That was as soon as I found out. Not my problem you didnt sign in right away and read. Not my problem that you did not ask Argo or Mel if anyone contacted you, or if they failed to inform you.

I followed YOUR guide. I did exactly what you said was needed. You are running the draft so it is your responsibility to ensure everything is in order.

The ONLY viable option, the fair option, would have been to announce the mistake soon as I informed you and hed the selections redone. But again there is this damn ego issue you refuse to deal with.

..... Now what about the Slack chat???? Honestly, is that the really the type of behavior a representative of the game should be portraying in any game related chat?

The only way to fix the issue at that point would have been to restart the draft. That's an unrealistic expectation. The captain couldn't simply just repick as it would be unfair to the selection process as one of the players chosen after the pick could have been chosen in replacement of Feniks. We weren't restarting the draft in Round 5/6.

Unrealistic? Then why even post the guide in your original post. Honestly, if that is your opinion then it should not have been an option to have your name removed for consideration. You set the guide and I followed it as you laid it out.
